Brunswick -Today, Bruce Poliquin, candidate for Governor, received the endorsement of John and Sherrye Trafton, owners of Sable Oak Equestrian Center in Brunswick. They have run the award winning stables for nearly 20 years in Maine and been tireless advocates for Maine’s horse industry. John is a well known farrier and past President of the Maine Quarter Horse Association, and Sherrye is a championship trainer of numerous breeds and a world-traveling horse show judge. In a statement, they discussed Bruce’s management experience and qualifications to be Maine’s next Governor.
“From the moment you meet Bruce you know he gets it,” they said. “He has an incredible depth of experience in finance and managing budgets. He’s handled the very economic challenges Maine’s business owners are facing today and knows the right solutions to fix our problems. He’s a strong leader and person of great integrity. We are proud to be a part of his campaign to bring better management to Augusta.”
